Bernadine Page's Obituary
Bernadine E. Page, (nee Taft), age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008, at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following a brief illness.
She was born in Fields Corners, North Ridgeville, where she was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Page worked as a cook for the North Ridgeville High School, retiring in 1987, after 27 years. She also worked for Novotney Catering, Avon Lake for 11 years, until 1980.
She was a member of the Grandmothers Night Out Card Club, Antique Auto Club of America, Ohio Region, Comm. Perry Car Club, Elyria, American Automobile Club of America, Women's Senior Fellowship Club, Elyria and Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed antique cars, playing cards and spending time with family and traveling.
Survivors include her son, Richard of Calistoga, CA; daughters, Conna Robison of Elyria, JoAnn Aiken of Sea Ranch, CA, Paula Cole of Marion, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel; sister, Ona Heldt and parents, Asa and Daysie Taft.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Jim White will officiate.
