Bennetta E. Taylor's Obituary
Bennetta E. Taylor, aka Bennetta E. Novak, (nee Stark), age 89, of Perrysville, formerly of Elyria passed away Saturday February 24, 2018 at Life Care Hospice Center in Wooster.
She was born on August 13, 1928 in Birmingham, Ohio to the late Benjamin and Bessie (nee Buck) Stark, and had lived most of her life in Elyria until moving to Perrysville to be with her daughter in 2009.
She was a former member of Church of the Open Door, Elyria.
Mrs. Taylor worked as an assembler for Lear Romec in Elyria in the 1950 and 60’s.
She loved life and being with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, going on cruises and read her Bible faithfully.
Survivors include her daughter Joan (Frank) Gerbasi of Perrysville, grandchildren Steve (Renee) Wonder, Rick (Teresa) Wonder, Elizabeth (Kerry) Kyer and Dustin Simon; step grandchildren James (Vonda) Gerbasi, Shirley Gerbasi, Christopher Gerbasi, Rachel (Kalvi) Puru and Kelly (Rustin) Sawyer; 8 great grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson Rylan Wonder; 7 step great-great grandchildren; sister Donna Stoyka of Lorain.
She is preceded in death by husbands George Carmen, Robert Novak and Donald Taylor, sons Stephen Carmen and Gary Novak, daughter Deborah Wagner.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 AM until time of service at 12:30 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Robert Wickens will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
