Ben Timms' Obituary
Ben L. Timms, age 60, of North Ridgeville, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Southwest General Health Center. Ben was born February 20, 1952 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He married Dorothy (nee Turner) on July 30, 1971 and she lovingly survives.
Also left to cherish his memory are his children, Jason (Danielle) Timms, Columbia Station and Jessica Timms, Parma; grandchildren, Morgan and Andrew; brother, Richard (Dianne) Timms, Simi Valley, CA and sister, Linda (Earl) Wayland, Boise, ID; and his "granddog", Champ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Gayle Matney.
An extremely hard worker and excellent provider, Ben was a spray painter for Repko Machine Co. for 38 years and worked as the custodian of Clague Road Church in North Olmsted for 31 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, watching movies with his family, and had a great interest in antique Chevy cars. He will be fondly remembered for his selfless devotion to helping others, especially his family. Ben was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Private graveside services and burial will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
