Becky J. Finley's Obituary
Becky J. Finley (nee Mayo), 78, transitioned to eternal life on February 20, 2024. The
daughter of Kebe and Arma “Toots” Mayo was born in Huntington, WV. She is survived
by her husband of 54 years, Jim Finley, children Jamie Finley Simoneau (John), Lori
Finley Starkey (Michael) and grandchildren Bailey and Emma Starkey and Luke, Miles
and Henry Simoneau. After graduating from Marshall University and marrying Jim, the
couple relocated to North Ridgeville, OH and began building their family. Becky was a
woman of faith and served Fields United Methodist Church for decades as a staff
member and parishioner, leading many committees, campaigns and Bible studies.
Becky served as a Christian Education Director for nearly 20 years at Fields United
Methodist Church and Bay United Methodist Church. Becky took care of her family,
including her daughters, parents and granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her
parents, Kebe and Toots Mayo, and granddaughter Elise Finley Simoneau. Friends may
call at Fields United Methodist Church 34077 Lorain Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039, on Wednesday 2/28 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at noon. Burial immediately following at Fields Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to LIFE A Dementia Friendly Foundation, P.O. Box 117
