Barney Soworowski's Obituary
Barney J. Soworowski, age 69, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly Monday, April 30, 2012 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 35 years, moving from Garfield Hts.
He worked as a machinist for Keystone Threaded Products and retired in 2004.
Barney was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, was an avid festival goer, enjoyed gambling trips with Nancy, attending North Ridgeville Turkey Raffles and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Nancy (nee Duke); sons, Randy (Michele) of Medina, Chris (Sherry) of Brunswick; daughter, Karen (Paul) Gilley of North Olmsted; grandchildren, Kevin and Ryan Soworowski, Katelyn and Brooke Soworowski, Tyler and Sara Gilley; brothers, Daniel (Lora) Soworowski and Dennis Soworowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Genevieve Soworowski and brother Jack. Loving uncle.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 PM until the time of service at 8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Tom Kowatch will officiate.
