Barbara J Myles' Obituary
Barbara J Myles, age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born in Parma, Ohio and lived in North Ridgeville for over 20 years.
Barb earned her undergraduate degree from Kent State University and held a Master’s
Degree in Art Education from Edinboro University. She was a gifted artist who shared
her creativity with others through her artwork. She enjoyed painting, drawing and
incorporating natural elements into her artwork. She was honored to have her artwork
displayed in local art galleries.
Barb had a deep love for her family and cherished the times spent together. She especially treasured her nieces and nephews and found great joy in seeing the
remarkable adults they became. Cape Cod held a special place in Barb’s heart. She
visited often and found peace and inspiration through its natural beauty. She was also
generous with her time, supported local charities and enjoyed bike riding.
Barb is survived by her sister Marilyn McIlwain (the late Ken) and brother Mickey Myles. She was the godmother and aunt of Michael Erminio; aunt of Melissa Krummel
(Connor), James Sheridan, Jason Sheridan, Lindsay McIlwain, Taylor McIlwain, Morgan
McIlwain, Danielle Sosa, Marshall Myles, and Matthew Myles. She is preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Marie Myles; and her sisters Linda Myles, Brenda Erminio (William), and Diane Myles (Carlos Honaker).
A celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
