Arthur Robert "Bob" Lankey's Obituary
Arthur Robert “Bob” Lankey, age 86, of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Elyria since 1955.
Bob worked as a tool maker for Ford Motor Company for many years, retiring in 2004.
He was a member of the Eagles Club in Elyria and enjoyed golfing and bowling and would often bowl 300 games.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary “Arlene” (nee Geary), sons, Robert (Becky) Lankey of LaGrange, Michael Lankey of Elyria, daughter, Pamela Akers (Steve Dora) of Elyria, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Huffman, brother, Charles Lankey, daughter-in-law, Cindy Lankey, son-in-law, Michael Akers and grandson Geoffrey Lankey.
The family will receive friends Friday from 11 AM until time of services at 12:30 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev Danny Parsons will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
