Arnold Schuster's Obituary
Arnold J. Schuster, age 88, of North Ridgeville, died Thursday at the North Ridge Health Center, North Ridgeville, following a long illness.
He was born in North Ridgeville, where he was a lifetime resident.
Mr. Schuster owned and operated the Schuster Brothers Dairy Farm in North Ridgeville for 50 years. After he retired from farming he became employed in the maintenance department at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake where he worked for 17 years retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville where he served as a church usher for 50 years. He was a former member of the Holy Name Society.
He was a North Ridgeville High School graduate class of 1934 and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Julianne (nee Gutschmidt); son, John of North Ridgeville and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Schuster and mother, Eleanor (nee Diederich) Schuster; step-mother Lidwina Schuster and brother Adelbert Schuster.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayer services will be held on Monday
at 9:30 AM. A 10:00 AM Mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
