Arie Elmer "Bud" Sherrill's Obituary
Arie Elmer “Bud” Sherrill passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at UH Elyria Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Grandview, TN and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1962. He was a machine operator for Ford for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Bud was a member of The River Church of God and enjoyed gardening and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Ollie; daughter Evelyn Lewis of Elyria; son Craig Sherrill of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Benjamin Kyer, Crystal Chapman, Amy Blankenship; 7 great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Dexter; son-in-law Willie Lewis; brothers Glenn, Roy and Otis Sherrill; sisters Myrtyl Webster, Bessie Geyer, Alma White and Cleta Reed. Family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Pastor Justin Reed and Danny Wright will officiate. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
