April Kumro's Obituary
April Kumro (nee Coleman), age 80, or North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home.
She was born on April 11, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 51 years, moving from Cleveland. She was a member of St. Mary of the Falls Church in Olmsted Falls where she acted as a PSR teacher and made a lot of new friends in the church.
In her free time, April enjoyed reading novels and spending time with her family and friends.
April is survived by her daughter Cheryl Ann (Bernard) Mehen of North Ridgeville; grandsons Randall Richard (Shannon) Mehen and Matthew James Mehen; great granddaughters Madelyn and Molly April Mehen; sister Victoria (Joseph) Mecurio; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold "Joe"; parents Kermit and Catherine (nee Manney) Coleman; brother Richard (Rita) Coleman.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. for a prayer service preceding a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Falls Church, 25615 Bagley Rd, Olmsted Falls. Rev. Robert Cole will officiate. Interment will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville. Family requests donations be made in April’s name to the Friendship APL at https://friendshipapl.org/donate/.
