Anthony E. Wicks' Obituary
Anthony E. Wicks, age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2009, moving from Fremont.
Anthony served in the US Army from 1958-1961.
He worked as a lineman for Cleveland Public Power, retiring in 1989 after 25 years.
He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, restoring and racing cars and playing cards with his friends.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Carol (nee Bryant); daughters, Casandra (Steve) Vitkowski of Medina, Denise Wornock of Cleveland; stepdaughter, Paula Starr of Cleveland; stepsons, Steven Hanshaw of Columbus and Michael Hanshaw of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Wicks of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death his father, Anthony Wicks and mother, Stella (nee Wojtonek) Wicks.
