Anthony "Tony" Scully's Obituary
Anthony Leo "Tony" Scully, age 74, of Naples, Florida formerly of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday September 14, 2011, in Naples following a long illness.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1970, having moved from Boston. More recently, he had resided in Naples for the past 10 years.
He graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic High School and went on to receive a Bachelors' of Arts Degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
He served in the US Army in the early 1960's
Mr. Scully founded Lakeside Blueprint in 1972 in Cleveland of which he owned and operated until retiring in 2007. It is now known as E Blueprint.
His hobbies included bike riding and he was an avid sports fan. He volunteered as a small business mentor in Naples.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Margaret "Peggy", two sons, Brett of Rocky River and John of Avon, daughter, Andrea (Chris) McDonagh of Montclair, NJ, three grandchildren, Mallory, Maggie and Mickey, brother, Joe (Linda) Scully of Ft. Lauderdale and two sisters, Betty Scully of Estero, FL and Theresa Malone of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony L. and Mary Scully, three brothers, Jack, Jim and Tom Scully and one sister Mary Scully.
A Memorial Mass will be held 2PM Saturday September 24, 2011 at St. Stephen Church, 1930 West 54th St., Cleveland, OH 44102. Rev. S. Michael Franz, Pastor will be the celebrant. A reception will follow at The Harp 4408 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland.
