Anthony Tober's Obituary
Anthony J. Tober, 67, of North Ridgeville, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
He was born June 22, 1939 in Cleveland, OH. He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1966 and had just recently moved to Elyria.
He worked as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service 34 years and retired in 2001.
He was a member of the Postal Union Cascade Branch #196.
He enjoyed bowling and watching all of his grandsons playing sports.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Patricia A (nee Lasko) Tober; sons, Mark (Patricia) Tober, of Elyria Township, Michael Tober, of North Ridgeville; daughter, Marla Browning, of Lorain; grandchildren, Nicholas, Brandon and Sean Tober and, Anthony and Christopher Browning; son-in-law, Robert Browning, of Lorain; brother, David Tober, of Navada and sister, Patricia Simbeck, of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Mary Elizabeth (nee Earhart) Tober and sister, Margie Quillin.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM on Tuesday followed by 10 AM Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Reverend Father Stephen Kaminski, pastor, will officiate. Internment will be in St. Peter Cemetery, N. Ridgeville.
