Anthony Paul Maenza's Obituary
Anthony Paul Maenza, age 46, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the home of his parents.
He was born in Cleveland and grew up in Mentor. He resided in Lakewood until moving to North Ridgeville in 2015.
He was a Sergeant in the US Army Rangers in the Gulf War serving his country from 1989-1995. He was a decorated veteran having received many citations, including the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars
He worked in sales for restoration of commercial buildings and was a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, Cleveland Chapter.
He was an accomplished golfer and an avid sports fan.
Anthony is survived by his parents Ross and Mariann Maenza of North Ridgeville; brother, Ross Maenza (Kimberly Vargo) of Amherst; sister, Laura (Michael) Lehman of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Runals in 2014.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
The US Army and North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will perform full military honors.
