Annie Berry's Obituary
Annie Mae Berry (nee Frazier), age 95, of Elyria, passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at the North Ridge Health Center, N. Ridgeville, following a short illness.
She was born in Murat, Virginia and was a resident of Elyria for the past 55 years.
She worked as a nurses aide at United Methodist Village, Elyria and the Lutheran Home, Westlake for many years, retiring in 1970.
She also worked as a security guard for Koppers Coal Mine Grocery Store in Page, WV.
She was a member of Murray Ridge Church of God and enjoyed sewing, embroidering, cooking, crocheting, playing the organ and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Mozura "Lee" Kincaid of Brookpark, Elizabeth McAtee of N. Ridgeville; sister, Frances Robinson of Elyria; brother, Ralph (Georgia) Frazier of Elyria; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quince B. Berry in 1982; parents, Henry and Bessie Frazier; brother, Clarence Frazier; sister, Helen Frazier; grandson, David Kincaid and great-grandson, Jonathon .
Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00AM until the time of services at 11:00AM at Murray Ridge Church of God, 7942 N. Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria. Pastor Thom Cody will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
