Annette D. Sefchik (nee Duffy), age 51, of Avon, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland following a more than two-year battle with cancer. She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Read Obituary
My deepest sympathies to the Sefchik family. I came to know Annette as her professor at LCCC, and we've been friends ever since. She had an amazing sense of humor, and I don't think I've once seen her when she wasn't smiling-even recently when I'd see her at the YMCA and she spoke of her illness. Though I will miss her, I share her faith that she is Home and smiling down upon us all.

I'm glad I had the pleasure in knowing Annette. We did a couple of trainings together. She was very upbeat and very helpful. She will be deeply missed. May you rest in peace. I know you are in gods care now. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Steve, My heartfelt condolences. I knew Annette only a little, but I could tell she had a big heart. She'll be missed by all those who knew her only some and by those who knew her well.

I first met Annette when she was around 11 years old when her family moved into the house adjacent to ours. Annette was so sweet, cute, always smiled, and already had that infectious laugh. Throughout the years from 1972 through 1996, I saw Annette mature into a young lady, reaching her dream of interior design from KSU, finding the love of her life, Steve, the birth and sorrow of losing Luke, and the joy of having Veronica, Danielle and Joe. Annette's life lives on through all the memories made and things she taught her children and the love she shared with all.
Please accept my deepest sympathy during this sad and difficult time.
