Anne Marie Sibley's Obituary
Anne Marie Sibley (nee Lampone) of North Ridgeville passed away on Friday May 26, 2017. She was born in Messina, Sicily, Italy on April 18, 1931 to Pietra and Giuseppe Lampone. The family immigrated to America in October 1931 and resided in Manhattan and the Bronx, New York. Later, they moved to Clifton, New Jersey where Anne graduated from Clifton High School in 1953. She worked for Kearfott Co. in Clifton and then Curtiss-Wright Corp. in Paterson New Jersey. She was married for 10 years and bore 2 sons, Anthony Joseph Palmieri of North Ridgeville and Vincent Joseph Palmieri of Parma. Later, in life, she married Howard Rodger Sibley in 1981 (love of her life). They lived in Sun City Center, Florida for many years. She was active in the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in the Women’s Guild as their Treasurer and Minister of Altar Flowers. Before moving to Florida, Anne retired from Arthur Young & Company in Cleveland where she worked in the Personnel department. At the time of her death, she and Howard were married 35 years. Anne was an active member of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville. She Loved her Family, gardening, quilting, sewing, painting, cross-stitching, knitting, stained glass, and many other crafts. Anne was a very active member of The Garden Club of North Ridgeville as Treasurer and President. She was also a member of the North Ridgeville Senior Center. She leaves behind her husband, Howard, her 2 sons, Anthony Joseph (Kimberly) Palmieri, Vincent Joseph (Irene) Palmieri, stepson, Robert Lawrence (Kareena) Sibley, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 sisters, 1 brother and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Visitations will be at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville on Tuesday, May 30th from 2- 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Wednesday followed by 10 AM Mass at St. Peter Church. Reverend Andrew Hoover, Parochial Vicar will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Memorial contribution are suggested to St. Peter Memorial Fund 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.
