Anna Weaver's Obituary
Anna Mae Weaver (nee Thornton), age 80, of Elyria, went home to be with Jesus, Friday, January 11, 2008 at Lake Point Health Center, Lorain following a long illness.
She was born May 14, 1927 in Cleveland. She had resided in Elyria the past 10 years having moved from Brunswick. She previously lived in N. Ridgeville for 25 years.
She was a member of Christian Unity Church, Grafton. She enjoyed Toll painting, sketching, reading her Bible, singing , flower gardening, cake decoration; she made all of her children's wedding cakes. She loved being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Weaver was a LPN for the United Methodist Home for many years, retirng in 1989.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Judy Watterlond of Corona, CA and Linda (Larry) Barker of Elyria; Son, Bruce (Carol) Weaver of Kingsville, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Weaver, in 2002; daughter, Denise Stanley, in 1990; mother, Emma Thornton; sister, Margaret Mobley and grandparents, Paul and
Martha (nee Von Silberstrawbridge) Burger.
Friends will be received 7-9 PM Tuesday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625
Center Ridge Road N. Ridgeville, where service will be held 11 AM Wednesday. Rev. Denver Daniel, Pastor of Christian Unity Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
