Anna Peepers' Obituary
Anna Marie Peepers (nee Robertson), age 87 of Elyria, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 29, 1919 in Lakewood. She attended school in Rocky River until the eleventh grade, and then moved to North Olmsted where she graduated. She had resided in Elyria the past 21 years having moved from North Ridgeville.
She was a dedicated baptized Jehova's Witness for thirty-five years, and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall on Chestnut Ridge Road in Elyria.
Mrs. Peepers enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cake decorating, camping and reading.
She was a self employed beautician who had owned Rie's Beauty Salon for twenty years. During WWII she served as a Wave and was stationed in Washington, D.C.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Berton E. Peepers, son, Patrick Peepers ( Deborah ) of Spencer, daughter, Cherie Sanborn ( Dave ) of Streetsboro, and her sister, Betty Carpenter of Elyria; two grandchildren, Christy Merrow and Danny Kegg, both of Streetsboro; and ten great- grandchildren.
Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Carrie Robertson ( nee Cornish ); brother, Richard Robertson; and her niece, Denise Beckley in March of 2000.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday with Bob Stash officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
