Anna Noormaa's Obituary
Anna Leany Noormaa (nee Bernath), age 66 of N. Ridgeville died Tuesday Sept. 18, 2007 at her home following a long illness.
She was born August 31, 1941 in Kisvarda, Hungary. Mrs. Noormaa immigrated to the United States in 1949. She lived in Baton Rouge, LA area before moving to Cleveland. She had been a resident of N. Ridgeville for the past 30 years. While living in Cleveland, Mrs. Noormaa worked at World Publishing Company where she met her future husband, Kalju Carl Noormaa. They had been married for 40 years before he passed away on June 27, 2005. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family.
Mrs. Noormaa was a member of Westlake Free Methodist Church and was a devoted reader of the Bible.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda and Gloria Noormaa both of N. Ridgeville, her son, Carl Noormaa of Phoenix, AZ, two brothers, Joseph (Judy) Bernath of Danville, PA and Steven Bernath of Denham Springs, LA, her sister, Jolan (Paul) Arendash of Olmsted Twp. And her sister-in-law, Silvia Noormaa of Tartu, Estonia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kalju, her parents, Esther and Nick Bernath, 3 sisters, Margit Toth, Polly Sullivan and Susan Johnson and her brother, Frank Bernath.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, Reverend Nelson Blount will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
