Anna Dunn's Obituary
Anna L. Dunn (nee Burdiss) age 92, of N. Ridgeville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 2, 2008 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a long illness.
Born in Thurmond, West Virginia, she was a resident of N. Ridgeville since 1971 moving from Cleveland.
Mrs. Dunn worked as a machine operator for France Manufacturing in Cleveland and retired in 1977.
She was a member of Cooley Ave. Church of God, Cleveland.
Anna was also a foster mother of six children after she retired.
She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Simmie David "Dick" (Lillian) Canterbury III of Cleveland; daughters, Mary Sue Mays of N. Ridgeville, Marjorie (Bob) Clark of S. Amherst, Dreama "Dee" (Bob) Stamper of N. Ridgeville, Flora (Tom) Cooper of Coal City, W Va., Deborah (Craig) Sutorius of Amherst Twp.; stepsons, Robert Dunn of Jefferson, Michael Dunn of Michigan; step-daughter, Marjorie Stolle of Decatur, IL.; sister, Maxine West of Beckley, W Va.; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hughbert Dunn; step-son, John Dunn; step-daughter, Cheryl Knight; brothers, Harry, Charles, Paul, Carl and Cornelius, Bill Burdiss; sisters, Catherine Farrar and Gertrude Meadows.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville and Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM at Cooley Ave. Church of God. Rev. Rich Boll, Pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake.
