Anna Carmon's Obituary
Anna V. Carmon (nee Maddock), age 78, of Fairview Park, died at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Columbia Station, and graduated from Columbia High School in 1944. She had been a resident of Fairview Park the past year and a half. She had previously lived in North Royalton for 18 years. She was a long time resident of Avon Lake.
She had worked as a secretary for RTA, Cleveland for 10 years; from 1963-1973 and as a cook at Saint Peter Rectory, North Ridgeville; from 1977-1979.
Mrs. Carmon was a member of Saint Peter Church, North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son; Lawrence (Kathy) Carmon, of Rocky River; daughters; Barbara (Rose) Carmon, of Fairview Park, Roselyn (David) Taylor, of Carlisle Township, Linda (James) Garner, of Stow; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters; Mary Traut, of North Ridgeville, Dolores Yeager, of North Ridgeville, Helen Fisher, of Wautona, WI, Evelyn Williams, of Avon, Yvonne Bott, of Vermilion and Carol Blaser, of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; Lawrence Carmon(1978) and Harry Taras (2004); parents, Andrew and Anna (nee Fox) Maddock; brothers, Ernest, John, Greg, Joseph, Andrew, George and Harold, Sr.
Friends may call on Friday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM on Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, pastor, will officiate..
