Anna Bernice Auville's Obituary
Anna Bernice Auville (nee Sawyer), age 82, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at her home following a long illness with ALS.
She was born in Gladys, Kentucky and was a resident of Elyria since 1977 moving from North Ridgeville.
She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church, Elyria Eagles, AMVETS and VFW in Oberlin.
Anna enjoyed playing BINGO, traveling, taking pictures and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid CAVS and Indians fan.
Survivors include her sons, Gerald Hammond of South Carolina, Wade Hammond of Elyria; daughter, Cheryl Davis of Elyria; 10 grandchildren; brother, Clinton Sawyer and sister, Edra Spangler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Chester and Laura (nee Webb) Sawyer; son-in-law, John Davis and daughter-in-law, Corrine Hammond.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM in the funeral home. Pastor Rick Keesee will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
