Ann Williams' Obituary
Ann Williams (nee Kalo), age 99, passed away Monday morning, December 08, 2014 at Springer Town Center Assisted Living in Avon Lake.
She was born in Flint, MI, raised in Lorain, she had lived most of her life in Cleveland until moving to Mentor since 1994, and then to Avon Lake.
Ann worked as a clerk for American Greeting, in Cleveland, for 20 years before she retired in 1985.
Survivors include her children, Ruth (Astor) Branham of Eastlake, Carol Blumena
of Westlake and Virginia (Charles) Poletunow of Amherst; grandchildren, Kelly
(Paul) Schaefer, Michael (Danielle) Blumena and Leslie (Dennis) Himes,
great-grandchildren, Hope, James Paul, Joshua and Jonah, brothers, John Kalo of Florida and Thomas Kalo of Lorain..
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Williams in 1957; parents, Louis and Florence Kalo; son, Roger Williams; brothers, Louis Kalo, George Kalo, Daniel Kalo; sisters, Mary Vance, Florence Ernst and Rose Jachym.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7PM in Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral And Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd. Amherst, OH 44001 where services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
