Ann Sitar's Obituary
Ann M. Sitar (nee Oklamchak), age 82, of North Ridgeville, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Center Ridge Nursing Home; following a long illness..
She was born January 31, 1923 in Benscreek, PA. She had resided in North Ridgeville since 1967; having moved from Elyria.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking and caring for flowers.
Mrs. Sitar is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Sitar; daughter, Regina (Robert) Thompson, of Elyria; son, Stanley J. Sitar, of Elyria Township; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna (nee Chipokovich) Oklamchak; brothers, John, George and Mike Oklamchak; sisters, Mary Oklamchak, Margaret Shedlock and Janet M. Smychynsky.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, February 7th at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville; where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Road N. Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
