Anita Louise Sluss' Obituary
Anita Louise Sluss (nee Harris), age 79, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Cement, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 65 years.
She was a member of College Hts. Baptist Church in Elyria and enjoyed collecting dolls, traveling, genealogy, crafting and sewing, as she was an excellent seamstress. She loved her children, shopping and throwing parties. She was a great hostess.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Ervin Keith Sluss; children, Deborah (Tom) Wilson of Elyria, Terri (Tim) Cole of Elyria; Douglas (Beverly) Sluss of Michigan, Sondra (Patrick) Cole of Sheffield Lake; daughter-in-law, Barbara Tablett of Wooster; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Biggs, Joan Franks, Jeanne Love; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Vincent Tablett and Russell Smith; parents, Robert and Ella Harris; siblings, Leota Stokes, Alta Montgomery, Delmer Harris, John Harris, Robert Harris and Patricia Harris.
Services will be private.
