Anita A. Counts' Obituary
Anita A. Counts (nee Tittle), age 75, of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the UH Elyria Medical Center. She was born on August 8, 1950, in Knoxville, TN and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 53 years. She worked as a head cashier for many Kroger Grocery Stores, retiring after 18 years of service. She was also self-employed with her husband Bob, running a cleaning business since 1984. Anita was an avid reader who loved her Kindle, enjoyed shopping and going out to dinner with her family and friends. She was a skilled interior designer, and the summer months would find her tending to her flowers and yard work. Above all else, spending time with her family was what she enjoyed most in life.
Anita is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Counts; sister Kathy (Don) Work of Davison, MI; nieces Michelle Work, Melissa (Eric) York and Angie (Dan) Kreilach; great nieces and nephews Dalton York, Lindsay (Richard) Greene, Savanah Kreilach and Danny Kreilach; mother-in-law Kathleen Counts; brothers-in-law Jeffrey, Van (Paula), Kelly and Jason Counts; sisters-in-law Shannon (Scott) and Ida Counts.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy (nee Greenlee) and John Tittle Jr.; brother Gary Tittle; brothers-in-law James Edward and Victor Reagan Counts.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Tuesday, January 20 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. Interment will be Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
