Andrew Hertzog's Obituary
Andrew "AL" Hertzog, 87, of N. Ridgeville, died Friday at EMH Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Grafton, WV, and had resided in N. Ridgeville the past 32 years.
He worked over 30 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. retiring in 1985 as a Sales Manager.
Mr. Hertzog enjoyed playing the guitar, mandolin and the organ in several bands over the years.
Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Eleanor Gall- Hertzog (nee Nagy), daughter, Judy Hartsock of Pickerington, Step-daughter, Sharon Gall of N. Ridgeville; Step-sons, Timothy Gall of Elyria, Jeff Gall of Brunswick, Jim Gall of N. Ridgeville, William Gall of Elyria, Richard Gall of Palatka, FL, Shawn Gall of San Carlos, FL, seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; Sisters, Mary Jane Rowe of Lewisburg, PA, Elizabeth Groover of Lebanon, PA.
He was preceded in death by 1st wife, Dorothy "Kitty" Hertzog, Parents, Floyd and Bessie Hertzog, two brothers, Paul and Ben Hertzog and stepson, Edwin Gall.
Friends will be received 5 PM until time of memorial service at 6 PM, Wednesday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville. Rev. Paul Males Assoc. Pastor of Rocky River Baptist Church will officiate. Private burial will be in the Lewisburg, PA
