Andrew Gast's Obituary
Andrew Richard Gast, age 27, of Cincinnati, passed away suddenly August 28, 2012, from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident.
He was born in Elyria, grew up in North Ridgeville and lived in the Cincinnati area for the past few years.
He graduated from the University of Dayton in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
Andrew worked as an IM & T Asset Manager for Fifth Third National Bank in downtown Cincinnati for the past 4 years.
He grew up in the First Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville.
He was an avid bicyclist, golfer, soccer player and Cleveland Browns fan. He also loved to go backpacking.
Andrew enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in the Cincinnati area.
Survivors include Michelle Houston of Boston; parents, Sandy and Rick Gast of North Ridgeville; sisters, Kristen Gast and Kerri Gast both of North Ridgeville; grandmother, Betty Jackson of North Ridgeville and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harry "Cap" Jackson and Herbert and Evelyn Gast.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Matthew Peters, Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Westlake, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
