Andrew Biondo's Obituary
Andrew S. Biondo, age 90 of Elyria died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a short illness.
He was born November 8, 1914 in Cleveland. He had resided in Elyria the past 25 years moving from Harrisburg, VA.
Mr. Biondo retired in 1981 from Dunham Bush Inc., Harrisburg, VA after 48 years of services, where he was a Superintendent.
He enjoyed going to horse races, fishing and baseball.
Surviving are daughter, Marsha Stolph of North Ridgeville, Son, Sam Biondo of Medina, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brother, James Biondo of Twinsburg; 2 Sisters, Emily Fantine of Lyndhurst and Theresa Embrecia of Solon.
He was preceded in death his wife Mildred Biondo (nee Slezak) in 2003; his parents, Samuel and Carmella Biondo and brother, Dominic Biondo.
Friends will be received 4-8 PM, Wednesday, March 16 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
