Amy Louise Dickerson's Obituary
Amy Louise Dickerson (nee Mullins), age 92, of Grafton, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at UH Elyria Medical Center.
She was born in Elliott County, KY, and had been a resident of Grafton for the past 45 years, moving from North Olmsted. She spent the last two years in the homes and under the care of her loving children, Barbara and Brenda.
Her greatest joy was family and being a homemaker. She loved to cook and clean, bake homemade pies, plant flowers, wear jewelry and be fashionable. She looked forward to hosting family gatherings and was always by your side in times of need.
At the age of 14, Louise accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She had a strong faith and enjoyed serving the Lord alongside her husband at Lakeview Baptist, West Ridge Baptist, and Christian Unity Church.
She is survived by her children Roger (Carol) of Wakeman, Barbara (Tom) Simpson of S. Amherst, Brenda (Eddie) Stephens of Mentor, Gail Hamilton of KY.; grandchildren Doug (LeeAnn) Dickerson, Wayne Dickerson, Tammy (Scott) Sigsworth, Tracie (Tony) Rotuno, Marion Burnworth (Eric Wilhelm), Eddie Stephens II, Amy (Matt) Sak, Shelly (Mike) Santone, Shawn Hamilton; great-grandchildren Elizabeth (Josh) Tarr, Ryan Dickerson, Johnny Sigsworth, Hannah Sigsworth, Andrew Sigsworth, Brayden Rotuno, Miranda Burnworth, Emaley Burnworth, Colin Kvoriak, Lillie Fabian, Grady Stephens, Hunter Sak, Tyler Sak, Ashton Sak, Kyleigh Santone-Gallant, Mason Santone, Gemma Santone, Josh Hamilton; great-great grandson Finley Tarr;
Louise was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 74 years, Rev. Lawrence L. Dickerson, mother Edna (nee Pollott), father Lonza Mullins, grandson Thomas Simpson, great-granddaughter Lindsey Rotuno, siblings June Mullins and Eunice Ward, and son-in-law Barry Hamilton.
Family will receive friends Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11 am until the time of service at 12pm at West Ridge Enterprise Baptist Church, 46280 Telegraph Rd., S. Amherst.
