Alona Price's Obituary
Alona J. Price(nee Roche), 65, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at her home following a short illness.
She was born on December 12, 1940 in Cleveland and had lived in North Ridgeville since 1969; having moved from Old Brooklyn.
She had worked as a cashier for the Giant Eagle Grocery Store, Avon Lake for 17 years retiring in 2003.
Alona was a member of the Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church, North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed Bingo and her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Chris (Mary Beth) Price and Eric Price, both of North Ridgeville; daughter, Michelle Hilditch, of Parma; four grandchildren; brother, Ron Roche, of Wellington; sisters, Louise Roche and Regina Coffin, both of Oberlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sarah Jane Roche (nee Honschell).
Friends will be received on Saturday from 1PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Reverend Paul Oberhaus, pastor of Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church, North Ridgeville, will officiate. Inurnment will be private at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alona Price Memorial Fund at any National City Bank location.
