Allen Beckloff's Obituary
Allen D. Beckloff, age 38, of North Ridgeville, died Sunday at the Renaissance Health Center, Olmsted Twp., following a long illness.
He was born in Elyria and had been a life long resident of North Ridgeville.
He worked as a carpenter for Sinned Engineering and Contracting Company in North Ridgeville. He previously had worked with Buckeye State Welding and Fabricating, Elyria and Plas Excavating in Grafton.
Allen was an avid outdoorsman. He was a successful bow hunter, fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the woods. He was an accomplished martial artist and was certified as a blackbelt. He was a member of Ohio Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do in Elyria for many years. Allen spent a couple of years teaching children karate at Right Path Martial Arts Studio in Westlake and was a sponsor in the Right Path Children's Foundation.
Survivors include his parents, Allen and Winifred (nee Barnes) Beckloff of North Ridgeville; fiancee, Therese Jalkanen of North Olmsted; sisters, Patricia Cook of Elyria, Alice Justice of North Ridgeville; brothers, David of North Ridgeville, Paul of Elyria; 3 nephews, 1 niece and 1 great niece.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
