As Ben's only child, I can say my childhood, especially my grade school year summers were among my favorite memories, let's see.. I got to ride motorcycles, corvettes, hang out with his friends, there were frequent lunches at local bars that I looked forward to with pinball games, lots and lots of pinball games. Maybe a few drag races, I think just one almost motorcycle accident (it was Byron who lost control over some railroad tracks I think, my Dad just ended up running over his own toe somehow) totally typical things you do with a little girl.... and everyday after our fun, my instructions were..."now remember don't tell your mother"
My father followed his own rules which MOST of the time was my favorite thing about him. When my Mom would get frustrated with me she would say sometimes " ugh you are just like your father".... I admit it, I am just like him and I love it !
Love you Dad
