Alicia Rachelle Smith's Obituary
Alicia Rachelle Smith, age 32, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her home.
She was born in Charleston, West Virginia and had been a resident of Grafton for most of her life.
She was a graduate of Lorain County Community College’s Nursing Program.
Alicia worked as a Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital in Lorain.
She previously earned an Associate’s degree at Columbus State to become a registered veterinary technician.
She loved animals and riding 4 wheelers in West Virginia with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling as a student Ambassador to England, France, Italy and Greece. Her greatest joy was spending time with her nephew, Jayce.
She was the beloved daughter of Jimmy and Connie Smith of Grafton; loving sister to Justin Smith (Tami Krugman) of Elyria; aunt of Jayce Smith; granddaughter of Harry and Anna Mae Townsend of Grafton and Shirley Smith of Comfort, West Virginia; niece of Carol (John) Smith, Marsha (Perry) Meadows, Harry Townsend Jr.; beloved cousin and dear friend to so many others.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Tammy Townsend; grandfather, Jimmie Smith and nephew, Wyatt Carpenter.
Her beautiful soul will live on through each and every person she encountered. Although she is no longer with us, rest assured that she sings with the angels and that she herself has become part of God’s choir.
Friends may call Friday 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Jerry Harper, Pastor of Abundant Life Christian Center, will officiate.
Private burial will take place at Royalton Rd. Cemetery.
