Alfred Vanover's Obituary
Alfred "Al" Vanover, age 65, of Eaton Township, died on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Jellico, TN and had lived in Eaton Township the past 18 years; having moved from Olmsted Falls.
He attended the North Ridgeville Church of God.
He enjoyed caring for his children and grandchildren, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and playing cards.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley (nee Davis) Vanover; sons, Bobby Jenkins, of Columbia Station, Michael Jenkins, of Eaton Township, Timothy Jenkins and Allen Jenkins-Vanover, both of Columbia Station; daughters, Wilma Seltzer, of Fairview Park and Kristen Hale, of Portsmouth, OH; fourteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother, Clem Vanover, of Olmsted Falls; sisters, Jewel Sherill, of Eaton Township and Bobbie King, of Elyria.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Vanover; parents, Charlie and Susie Vanover; brother, Elmer Vanover and sister, Loretta Walden.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the North Ridgeville Church of God, 6000 Lear-Nagle Road, North Ridgeville. Bishop Lawrence Shreffler, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Columbia Township Cemetery.
