Alexis Markowich's Obituary
Alexis Nichole Markowich, age 5, of Amherst, passed away Thursday, September 14th at the Cleveland Clinic, following a long illness.
She was born in Elyria and had been a resident of Amherst for the past two years.
She attended St. Jude's Catholic Church and enjoyed watching Barney and Friends, dancing and playing in her yard.
Survivors include her parents, Craig and Nichole (nee Golden) of Amherst; sister, Brianne Michelle Mason of Amherst; maternal grandparents, Don and Christy Golden of Elyria; paternal grandfather, Ed Markowich of Elyria, paternal grandmother, Jean Markowich of Elyria; paternal great-grandmothers Ginger Markowich of Elyria, Dottie Aldrich of Ocala, Florida; maternal great-grandmother, Ethel Neal of Amherst; two uncles, two aunts and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfathers, Edward Markowich, Bernie Aldrich; maternal great-grandfathers, Marshal Golden and Carl Cross; maternal great-grandmothers, Dorothy Meyne and Lois Cross.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of services at 12:00 Noon at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Frank Kosem, Pastor of St. Jude's Church, will officiate. Private burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
