Alexandra M. "Alex" Rezac's Obituary
Alexandra M. “Alex” Rezac, age 25, of North Ridgeville, passed away on July 29, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on January 28, 1990 in Venezuela and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 7 years, moving from Florida.
Alex was a student at Cuyahoga Community College, and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority at Kent State University and Alpha Phi Omega at Bowling Green University.
Alex was an avid online gamer, and enjoyed art, movies and music. She played the clarinet, and was self-taught on the piano and guitar. She had been active in gymnastics, dance and theater, her favorite being musicals, in particular, Rent. Alex was also a soccer and football fan, especially the Browns, attending her first game at the age of two.
She is survived by her father Mark Rezac of North Ridgeville, mother Isolina “Soli” Ereu̕ of Florida, grandmother Carole Rezac of Strongsville; step brother Gary (Vicki) Stamper of North Ridgeville; nieces Vanessa and Rebecca Stamper of North Ridgeville; aunts Marilyn (Sanjay) Patel of Charleston, SC, Meg (Jim) Freck of Seven Hills and Melanie (Brian) Rezac of Strongsville; uncles Mike (Carol Klamar Dyson) Rezac of Strongsville, Matt (Jen) Rezac of Virginia, Ray Richards of Wickliffe, Jeff (Gina) Richards of Wickliffe and Ron (Amy) Richards of Willowick.
Alex was preceded in death by her step mother Jeanne Rezac; grandparents Jerry Rezac and Lourdes Luna and Wenceslao Jae̕n.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, N. Ridgeville on Sunday 2-6 p.m. and on Monday at 9:30 a.m. preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Interment will be private.
