Albert Arman's Obituary
Albert A. Arman, age 79, of Elyria, died Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake. He was born March 29, 1934 to the late Albert and Sophie Arman in Cleveland and had been a resident of Elyria for 25 years.
Albert worked in sales for various companies and assisted in the computer lab at St. Jude School for several years. He enjoyed volunteering at Mercy Hospital in Lorain as well as gardening, reading, cooking, music and watching anything about World War II or airplanes. Albert proudly served in the United States Army in the Korean War from 1951-53 with the 9th Field Artillery, 3rd Division. He was a member of American Legion Post 12 in Elyria.
Albert is survived by sisters, Dianne Arman, Amherst and Karen Robinson, Lorain; niece, Deana Knaack; great nephew, Stefan Knaack; dear friends, the Diederich Family, Monroe Meese, John and Joyce Dolan.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Roger and uncle, Paul "Dick" Arman.
At Albert's request, services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
