Alan A. Hrusch's Obituary
Alan A. Hrusch, age 74, of Grafton, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He was born in Lakewood and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville.
Alan had worked in shipping and receiving for Carpenter Tech in Cleveland for 30 years, retiring in 1991.
He was an auxiliary member of VFW Post 9871.
Alan was an avid boater who enjoyed riding his SeaDoo, gardening, raising raspberries and operating his tractors. He was an all around Mr. Fix it. He loved to travel, especially on cruises and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pearl (nee Boettler); daughter, Lynne Hrusch of Sandusky; son, Michael (Karen) of North Ridgeville; grandsons, Tyler, Ryan and Kyle; brothers, Gary (Charmaine) of North Ridgeville, Phillip Hrusch of Peninsula; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Mary (nee Surman) Hrusch.
Friends may call Sunday from 3PM until the time of Memorial Service at 6PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev George Vrabel will officiate.
