Agnes Steinhauer's Obituary
Agnes F. Steinhauer (nee Shenal) 79, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in Portsmouth, VA.
She was born December 21, 1926 in Brownsville, PA. She had resided in Euclid for thirty years, and in North Olmsted for eleven years prior to moving to Punta Gorda, Florida in 2002.
Agnes was a member of St. Brendan Church, North Olmsted and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She was employed as a salesperson with Euclid Provision Meats for twenty-two years.
Mrs. Steinhauer was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who worked diligently for the benefit of her family. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy Shultz and husband John of Punta Gorda, FL; son, David Steinhauer and wife Barbara Kersey of Portsmouth, VA; and four grandchildren.
She was widowed by Frank Paul Steinhauer in 1991, and also preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Shenal; three brothers, John, Joe, and Jim Shenal, and two sisters, Mary Motika and Catherine Fletcher.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 11:30AM in the A-frame chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd. (rt. 83), Avon with Rev. Cornelius Murray of St. Brendan Catholic Church, North Olmsted officiating.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 6315 N. Center Dr., Norfolk, VA 23502.
There will be no visitation. Local arrangements are being handled by the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
