Agnes Yursky's Obituary
Agnes B. Yursky (nee Matcho), 87, passed away on April 10, 2012 surrounded by her family at home in North Ridgeville following a long illness.
Agnes was born on March 11, 1925 in Windber, PA. She had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2006, formerly residing in Seven Hills and Stuart, Florida. Agnes worked for General Electric for over 20 years in the Small Lamp Division, retiring in 1984.
Agnes had a real love for life and enjoyed joking and making people laugh. She was very active, cooking, baking, ballroom dancing, playing cards with friends and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Edward; daughters, Carol (Stuart) Heller of North Royalton, Kathy (Ken) Kotyk of Garfield Heights, Mary (Barbara Hovekamp) Yursky of Lakewood; son, John (Terri) of Olmsted Falls; grandchildren, Kenny (Betsy) Kotyk, Sara (Kevin) Collins, Julia (Dan) Forbes, Jennifer and Emily Yursky; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly and Aidan; sister, Mary (Robert) Appleyard of Windber, PA; brothers, Tom (Jean) Matcho of Parma Heights and Paul (Patty) Matcho of Johnstown, PA.
Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Julia Matcho (nee Iswalk); and her brother, Ernest Matcho.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM Friday at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday followed by a 10 AM Mass at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. The Reverend Bob Franco, Pastor of St. Peter Church will be the celebrant. Private family interment.
