Dear Joanne,
I know it's been years since we last saw each other at family reunions. I simply wanted to extend my prayers and thoughts to you, Chris and Matthew and their families. I remember my cousin Roger as a very kind and gregarious fellow especially at horse-shoes. His parents' memory is also deeply engrained in my memory. He came from a warm and loving famly and he certainly passed that on to others. I am grateful for having known him.

Dear Joanne and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Roger was one of the good guys. I didn't know him for long, but we shared many ideals. I will miss that smiling face and his emails. That was the perfect picture to remember him by. That smile looked like he had just played a secret joke on someone, and they were not aware of it.
May God accept his spirit into His Heavenly Kingdom where we will all meet again.

The first time I joined the Social Justice commission meeting, Roger was so proud to have such an active group of members to share his love for serving others. I was deeply impressed by his welcome and his love. Roger will be missed. Our hearts are prayerful for you!
