Thomas Davis, Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas " Ricky " Davis, Sr. age 54, of North Eaton, died Friday at his home following a long illness. He was born in Lester, Alabama and had been a resident of North Eaton for the past 28 years; having moved from North Ridgeville. Mr.. Davis served in the United States Army. He worked as a welder and machine operator for General Motors, Chevrolet Parma Plant and retired in 2002; after 34 years of service. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 105 and enjoyed woodworking, computers and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Nee Doring) Davis; sons Thomas Jr.(Karen)Davis, of Mantua and Carlos (Tammy)Davis of North Ridgeville; daughters, Diane (Michael)Ennemoser, of Cleveland and Peggy (Chris)Betts, of Columbia Station; and his parents; Euel and Viva Lee (nee Cates) Davis, of Anderson, Alabama; three brothers; Gary Davis, of Elyria, Ted Davis, of Tucson, Arizona, and Carlos Davis, of Anderson, Alabama. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Pastor Rick Chapman, of the Church of the Open Door, Elyria will officiate. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
