Warren had left Ohiopyle when I was a kid, therefore I didn?t get to know him very well. My mother Margaret Schaefer Orndorff and he were close friends, he visited her every time he came to Ohiopyle for a visit. I know his brother Roy very well, he played baseball for Ohiopyle when I was a kid and his father Ross was our rural route mailman for many years. I am very sorry to hear of his passing, he came from a first class family and it was obvious he was a first class man. Thinking of your family in your loss.Warren will always bring happy memories of how he was always grateful to see others and talk about days past. He was a great friend of my husband, Joe, whether it was the many years at Bendix or the golf course.And there was the connection to all who came from Penna.
After Joe was diagnosed with brain cancer,Warren had heard and came over to see him and and to visit and talk they did-the war,golf, friends.It was a very thoughtful, caring for Warren to do.Sometime later, I saw him and mentioned his visit and he had no memory of it-but I did and still do. wonder what goes on when they meet again....

I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget your dad. He was a very special man. He made us feel so welcome when Greg and I bought our house. I miss him strolling over to visit or riding his golfcart with Gregory and Emma and Duke!! I'll never forget driving in the corvette with him to Taco Bell. We all miss him and have comfort in knowing he is with your mom and with the angels. Love you all!

Hallie, Lori and family; Was so sorry to hear of Uncle Warrens passing. Mom had told me at one point he was at Good Sams also. But after that she wasn't sure where he was moved to. I recall all the family get togethers and the visits with Mom to the house to visit with him and your Mom. They were both very special people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The years of gone by so quickly, but I still hold you, Lori, and your parents in my heart. I wish I had known your Dad was at the Luthern Home as I volunteer in the gardern courtyards and would have stopped by to see him - and perhaps you as well. My husband, Bob Ziegman, passed away in May of this year. He knew Warren as a fellow Bendix employee and shared his love of flying, having been a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association at the same time Warren was a member. He always spoke so highly of Warren and I, too, met him and his wife, Helen, at social gatherings of the Assn. and shared Bob's feelings. He truly was a great human being and I know Bob would have wanted me to send our condolences.
I worked with Warren at Hilliard Lakes For almost 15 years. He was a talented and resourceful man. Always very dedicated to the guys he worked with and would share his much needed knowledge at times. There usually is not a day that goes by that I remember something he told us. He also would give a guy gloves or hat if needed. I remember his wife gave me a nearly new furniture set when i first went out on my own. I'm better for knowing Warren for sure. God Bless Jim Ruminski and Family
