When I was a child on our family farm, TC and Nora lived with us a good part of the time in the first few years after their wedding. My parents split up in 1960 and I ended up leaving with our mother and I came back to the farm on the weekends. I never wanted to leave the farm, so one weekend TC had an uncured rabbit skin from a hunt. I asked him if I could have it. I slept with it on top of my pillow for a couple of years until I grew out of my homesickness for the farm. He was soft-spoken and easygoing.
