To the family and other many friends of Tom. We met Tom when I began singing in Elyria and he always brought in gag gifts, had a great sense of humor always. He once bought me a Snowbird, stuffed, as I used to sing that song he loved to hear, I still have it now 33 years later. He also loved songs I sang called Funny Face and I Wish I Was A Teddy Bear so I will always think of him when I hear those songs of course. I just spoke to Tom about a week before he died and I heard he had my phone number in his wallet. He was going to call me when he got to the VA hospital so we could come and visit him, but it was not meant to be. We had visited him there at other times. He will be very much missed by us. We did not learn of Tom's death until too late to visit him. We will miss him very much, AND his great sense of humor. Jim & Dolly Ward and Family Feb. 18, 2008.
