Roger L. Daugherty, age 72, of Elyria, passed away on November 25, 2016 at the New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 21, 1944 in Green County, Pa and has been a resident of Read Obituary
Me and Roger went back a long ways, we went to school together, we skipped school together, when we started driving we had drag races together, we went to work we drifted apart for a while. but he would stop by and talk for a while and show me his new car, dang I wanted one like that, so I'd go get one.
Gonna miss you. BUD.
Roger has been a friend of our family for over 50 years. He will be missed but know that he's with our Heavenly Father. Very special condolences to Helen and family. We love you.

Helen, Brad and the entire Daugherty family has my deepest sympathies. I was fortunate to have met Roger Daugherty at two Daugherty family reunions, in 1985 and 2010. He was my mother's cousin, and she always spoke fondly of him. I enjoyed hearing his stories about the family. He was well loved, and will be missed.
