I have many memories from the last 80+ years of my cousin Bob. I always looked forward to hearning from him over the years. I am glad we kept in contact and will miss his email updates . He was a kind man. My sympathies to NellieJean.

Bob was a very active member of the North Ridgeville Fishing Club. I knew That I could count on him when I was President of the Club to be invoved in our Programs, Especially the ones that involved Fishing Derbies for Kids. He really liked the Fishing Picnic outing that The Rotary Club and The Fishing Club had every year for the Special Ed Students in the North Ridgeville School System. He will be missed. you and your mom and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Nothing will take away your memories of your dad and he will always be near you....
I only knew bob for a short time as he jumped in head first to help out at our chapter with our conservation effort.At an age when most people would be relaxing with friends and family bob became very active as a volunteer with us.He was responsible for making a management program for our pond.Including researching a new windmill to improve water quality. by this spring we will have collected enough money to install.i only wish bob would have been here to see it installed.When it is in place this year it will be dedicated in bobs memory.He also was responsible for the largest grant our chapter has ever recieved.the grant will be used to build our new archery range to teach children the sport.this range will be called THE BOB WENDELLARCHERY RANGE.I once asked bob why he was so willing to help our chapter.his response will never be forgotten.Bob said his reason was because he had seen how passionate i was in carrying conservation into the future.Through teaching the children the importance so that everyone would have our natural resources to enjoy .That response will be what allows me to continue as a volunteer and all the hard work ensuring all generations know the importance of conservation of our natural resources.I promise he will not be forgotten in my lifetime.
