Richard E. St. John, age 49, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at St. John West Shore Hospital, following a sudden illness. Born in Cherry Point, North Carolina, he grew up in Geneva and was a resident of Read Obituary
I was a dialysis patient and Richard was one of the Techs that took care of me for over 2 years until I received a kidney transplant on May 31, 2009. He was always funny and caring and I knew I could count on him to try and make me feel better. I am very saddened to hear about his passing and my heartfelt condolences to his family. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Richard's passing. He was a kind,caring,and funny man who made people around him happy to know him. I am so sorry that he will not be here with you, Brianna and Erica, to watch you as you continue to grow into independent young women, but I know he will watch over you. Anita......no good words......I'm SO sorry. I know that your friends, family, and faith will provide you strength. The thoughts and prayers of our whole family are with you all.

Rich and I were friends in high school, and in fact, he was my date to the prom when I was a senior and Rich was a junior. He was a kind and caring person who was also friends with my brother, Adam Fowler.
